Hi, my name is Eleanor and I just can't say enough about Mike Dixon-McIver.

Late last year and all this year I was having major problems with A.C.C rehabilitation plan. I had been told from people in Napier that this plan was to get as many long term recipients deemed fit to work 30 hours or more off A.C.C fit or not fit. "Scary stuff!!".

My case officer whom I Named "Attila the Hun" had me so confused plus stressed that trying to deal with them reduced me to a blithering idiot, that's how I felt. Then some kind person told me about the work Mike was doing to help people get treated fairly and within the law. Mike took all the stress and confusion away so I could just get on with my rehabilitation. He came with me to meetings with "Attila" and A.C.C Doctor's, he understood all the jargon that folks like you and I just don't understand.

I know for sure if I had tried to deal with my own case I would not be receiving a benefit today, just because I lack the knowledge of law and sheer frustration. The bonus for me now is that I am still receiving my benefit and I am having more medical care than I ever had in all the time on A.C.C.

I have come to trust Mike as a friend as well as my advocate, his honesty and integrity to me are above reproach.
