with ACC or CATALYST.
When a client elects to employ their
own personal Service Manager* the most noticeable effect is the
immediate release of personal anxiety and pressure that builds
up between the client and the ACC or CATALYST case manager. Our
experience has been that every single client who has employed
our services has expressed their appreciation and at times
gratitude at the manner that our service has enabled them to
start living as normal a life as their injuries or disabilities
will allow them.
There is no pressure on our client to
have to do something at any given point of time. Instead our
Registered Clients* are able to communicate with their Service
Manager* to communicate any of their concerns or events that take place
relative to their ACC entitlements or commitments by way of our
0800 or local call free service. We are then kept in the picture
and can initiate any proactive protective actions in the file management of
our client.
It surprising what we discover in the
file management of our clients. Our file data basing system can
disclose entitlement to the payment of lump sums due to a
previous entitlement being overlooked or underpaid; to the
forcing of the provision of all of the forms of social or
rehabilitative assistance that a client is legally entitled but
has missed out on.
