HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO EMPLOY YOUR OWN SERVICE MANAGER?
With the changes in ACC legislation
since compulsory accident insurance was first introduced the
question has really become how much will be lost in annual
income if an insured person is suspended from ACC and is forced
to rely on a social welfare benefit.
The direct cost of using our company to
employ your personal Service Manager* is set out in our scale of
fees. We recognise that the initial cost of ensuring that your
ACC files are in order may be prohibitive as an upfront expense,
so we have generated a pay as you go advocacy service to meet your
long term needs as the first consideration.

Our Registered Client* plan is
paid for by way of a one off up front payment of $200.00
in conjunction with a $20.00 weekly direct credit that is
made to a stand alone bank account. The stand alone bank
account is administered by a bank other than Advkit Para
Legal Services* normal trading bank, as a protection for
any funds that accumulate to the credit of our individual
clients.
The individual client's automatic
payments are reconciled each month and a running balance
is electronically maintained in the dedicated database
employed by Advkit Para Legal Services in its file
management of each client.
On the first trading day of
each month the previous months invoices have any debits
payable to them credited from the clients individual
credit balance arising from their automatic payments.
A monthly reconciliation fee of
$3.50 applies.
In the event that more work is
done for a client in any one month than what has been
received as direct credits, any negative balance owing by
the client is carried forward to the following month. This
continues until a negative balance has aged for three
months, at which time the client will be requested to pay
only the balance of the aged three-month account. This
means that a client does not have to find large individual
sums to
have their ACC affairs looked after by a Service Manager*,
as the cost is spread in an even manner throughout the
year.
Alternatively a client may elect to pay
as they go within 14 days of the receipt of an invoice.
The cost of employing a personal
Service Manager is set out in the published scale of fees and is
as follows: -
Mandatory annual client
registration
Mandatory lodging of a Power of
Attorney
Mandatory preparation of a data
based strategic report to be held on file when completed.
The strategic report is a mandatory expense, as the report
identifies the characteristics that are unique to each
individual client’s relationship with ACC and becomes an
important tool in plotting the course of combating present or
future adverse decisions that may be made by ACC.
Following the completion of the
strategic report any of the specified costs that are set
out in the scale of fees are administered, as and when an
agreed management event takes place.
